Apply 1 ounce of 10-10-10 in February, May, and July of the first year. Keep fertilizer at least 6 inches away from trunk and scatter in a circle. Apply 2 ounces of 10-10-10 in February, May, and July the second year. Increase the rate to 4 to 8 ounces per plant per application the third year. For vines four years or older apply 8 ounces of 10-10-10 per plant in February and July.

Note: A pint of 10-10-10 fertilizer weighs approximately 1 pound; 3/4 pint of limestone weighs approximately 1 pound.
