Preface

This handbook provides users of the plant analysis technique a guide for interpreting and evaluating plant analysis results. Although specifically related to Georgia crops and crop growing conditions, these interpretations may have wider application. However, the user should be always cognizant of the Handbook's limitations if the enclosed interpretative data is to be used elsewhere.

Although every attempt was made to cover circumstances of common occurrence in the application of the plant analysis technique, not all contingencies could possibly be anticipated and described. Carefully read the text before attempting to use the tabular material. Explanations and comments given in the text frequently elucidate particular statements contained in the tabular material.
