Soil submission forms filled out by the originating counties must accompany all soil samples.
Space is provided for up to 12 samples on each form.
Samples are lined up according to the order in which they appear on the soil submission form.
Up to 36 samples may be placed in a set box.
Each submission form is identified by alphabet letter, page number, and date.
If payment is required, the sample should be accompanied by a check.
Make sure that the check amount totals the correct amount necessary for the tests required.
If a check does not accompany samples requesting special tests, the samples will be automatically placed in a routine set for analysis – No Exceptions.
Legible information is a must.
A laboratory number is then assigned to each sample and stamped on the soil submission form.
A duplicate number is then transferred to a laboratory sheet.
All samples are then placed in a dryer overnight with the exception of greenhouse samples.
