Announcement:

Over the past fiscal years, the Agricultural and Environmental Services Labs have provided funds for each county for free analysis, to be used at the discretion of the county. The new available balance for your county for FY is listed in Data Transfer. The amount of county program funds was calculated as $100 + 1 % of the amount of income generated by your online submission samples last fiscal year.

For example:

If you used Online Submission last year to submit $5,000 worth of samples, your county program total for FY would be $100 + $50 = $150.

Thanks for your help in serving the citizens of Georgia.

Counties with a negative balance receive the following:

You have overspent your county program allotment for FY. We will deduct any amount that is overspent from next year's county program allotment, provided it does not exceed $15. If your allotment is overspent by more than $15, we will bill you for the balance.

Stragglers:

When counties try to zero out their CP funds,
but their samples won't be logged in until the next fiscal year …
We'll carry over just enough money to cover the samples,
but warn them not to wait till the last minute next year.
